AdGirl Nightly: Helping doesn’t take much

To all my Toronto friends, please join Toronto, Help Haiti! to see what’s been happening and get involved.

Other links I ask you to PLEASE make yourself aware of. It’s the least you can do.

I got a really good message from Dima Zelikman, please take a look:

Hey Lava, good work spreading the message, but I felt you might be interested in seeing these links. I really respect the pull you have over your pretty huge network, so check these out.
All of the following organizations are legal and authentic — and they help Haitians IN Haiti on an ongoing basis in addition to earthquake relief — they have the structure and devotion to get the help to those who truly need it:
www.hashaiti.org (this is the Albert Schweitzer Hospital — they are there NOW helping)
www.lambifund.org (their grain silos are destroyed and they desperately need to regain the ability to help the people feed themselves)

www.artforhaitianchildren.org (they feed, clothe, and educate children who are taken in off of the streets — AND teach them how to have a career as artists — Haiti is noted for Art and it’s one of the viable ways to actually make a living)
www.zanmilakay.org (the need to feed and educate children off of the street will be greater than ever before)

Thank you Dima. I really appreciate you sharing this with me. More than I can express.

Donated to the Salvation Army again today by texting “Haiti” to 45678 . Was looking at the LA Times photos. Lost it. Can’t sit still.

Monday is bake sale fundraiser at the office. I’m calling it “A Sweet Spot for Haiti”. Going to work on mock-up tonight. Collaborating with my homie Logiq on the weekend on a Haiti project. Did you see him on MuchMusic?
